This week, we’re delighted to welcome Sam Taylor, VP of Sales & Success, to Loom’s Leadership team. 🎉
Sam will work with the Sales & Success team to continue building a scalable revenue machine for Loom, finding ways to add incremental revenue on top of the naturally viral, self-serve model that serves as Loom’s foundation.
Get to know more about Sam in his own words in the loom below:
Before joining Loom as VP of Sales & Success, Sam was Vice President of Commercial Business at Quip, a productivity startup that Salesforce acquired in 2016. Joining as Quip's first sales leader, he helped drive the GTM integration at Salesforce while scaling the Sales team to 50 reps. Prior to Quip, Sam was one of the first five sales reps at Dropbox. During his time there, he held a number of sales leadership roles as the company scaled from 60 to 1,500 employees.
Outside of work, Sam prioritizes quality time with loved ones and getting outdoors. When he's not chasing his three kids around the backyard, you might find him fly fishing on a river or laughing with friends around a campfire.
“As the world has shifted to embrace remote work, Loom is delivering a simple, elegant way to communicate clearly, efficiently, and with a level of connection only video can achieve,” Sam says. "The North Star for my career has always been joining teams with amazing humans, from whom I can learn and with whom I can problem solve. Loom's mission and values resonated with me immediately and I was blown away by the caliber of the team they've built.”
Sam is brilliant, funny, and a fantastic communicator. I have the utmost confidence he’ll lead by example to build a team of champions for our customers. With Sam on board, we’re one major step closer to achieving our mission to empower everyone at work to communicate more effectively, wherever they are.
