Hi Penny I just finished installing the free theme and it looks great on my computer but I tried it from my phone and it does not work. I can’t see the left menu and the top menu is mixed with the profile menu.

I have been working so many hours on it. I don’t want to go back to my old theme. Can you help me ?

Hey Sylvie, can you email a picture of what you see? My email is penny@pennyinyourpocket.com
It does work on mobile on mine, so I'm just trying to work out what's going on at your end. The left menu is pulled out by clicking on the double arrow icon - next to the magnifying glass.... and the top menu is all built in together. ie you click on the hamburger icon (3 lines) and a dropdown menu will appear of all the items, including the profile menu. All Kajabi themes work like this, not just mine. But send me the email and then I can share a screenshot of mine so you can see what it's supposed to look like.

Thank you. I didn’t see the double arrow icon because the lines are white and my background is light grey. I found it because you describe it 😅 I am gonna change the color of the background.

Hi Penny. If you wanted to add a module that you dont want to appear on the categories page as a photo could you do this? Eg im just wanting to add text to the categories page not another module like icon

Sadly that's a no. Unless you want to remove the thumbnail image for all modules, then we may be able to put some code in for that.

I am so sorry Penny. I was not very clear. Yes, I did get my order mixed up and tried to set up the menu too soon. However, I am familiar with how to do that. What I am so stuck on is how to get started entering my information, categories, classes, etc..... I can't seem to figure out how to get the basic framework for that so it looks like what the sample shows and also allows me to actually enter the information. I have been using premier and had no problem being able to set up that stuff. However, with this template there is a definate disconnect with how to set up the template so it can look exactly like what you have in the sample. What am I missing here?

Hey Teri, no problem. Your categories/modules are created in the backend, ie this comes from your syllabus when you create your course. (Under Products > Courses in your account)
This part has nothing to do with the theme.

So once you have your categories or modules in place and you've added nice thumbnail images to them, then they'll automatically appear in the Sunset theme... just as they would in any product theme you're working in.

The thumbnail category cards will appear on the Category Page ONLY.

They will not appear on the home page of this theme. I have an image in place to show you what the Category page will look like.

Your students will get to the Category page by clicking on the word Category in the left hand side menu, or by clicking on a menu item in the header that you create.

I don't think you're missing anything, just where you need to go to add in your Thumbnail images and the basic syllabus content. Kajabi has a good help file on how set up your course outline here:

Hello, I am having the same problem. Nothing is showing up in my category section. I have looked in the live and I have looked as a " student" and nothing shows up on that page. Also, There is no option for me to add categories to my header menu. only the side menu.

Hey Charlie, do you mean the arrows in the left hand side menu area? Those appear when you use submodules. ie they're already in the theme. And so glad you like the theme....

You'd need to let me know exactly what's happening.

ie have you uploaded the theme against an existing PRODUCT? ie not in landing pages or under the website theme?
Did the file unpack or unzip when you were downloading it? And you had to zip it back up?
