Thanks for this Craig! I was really waiting for the scrolling functionality. If it's possible, it'd also be helpful to have an option to view the calendar in colour-code, for example colour coded by project / tags. Currently the priority view is incredibly helpful, but at times I want to see which projects fill my day. 🙂

i second this re: color coding by projects/tags. even just personal vs work space would be sufficient

Not being able to color code the tasks is why I left Todoist.

Yes PLEASE let us color code! I want so badly to be able to color code my tasks by project! It would help so much.

Great additions, UX looks 10x better...but Craig, my man, you've gotta speak up and re-record without the crying baby😂

This is great but I still won't use calendar view as long as there is no day view for other days than today. We still need to use the weekly or monthly view for that, which is awful to timeblock just a single day, especially on a small screen. This is particularly annoying now that you have disabled the legacy Google calendar integration.
I want to plan my next working day before it starts.
Today's calendar view is also not suitable for those who work at night (can only time-block tasks until 11:59 pm).
I understand that you might put this off because it probably implies more changes in the app (e.g. you'd have to rename the Today page by Day view or something like that) but to me that day by day view would be the most valuable view of all calendar views.
And also, how can I hide the Google Contact birthday events? This special calendar is not listed in the Calendars settings so I can't hide it.

Hey everyone! I’m really excited about the updates too — I’ve been looking forward to them. But are the new features available in the Windows desktop app yet? I’m on version v7779 (beta), but I haven’t gotten them on my end.

Btw, I really really love how much more responsive the week calendar view has become when editing tasks. No more lag! Also, the non-overlapping squares is going to be nice, I think, although initially I wasn't too sure.

I'm sorry, but who thought this video was acceptable to publish? Kids crying in the background and with my volume at absolute maximum, it seems like it's only at 30%. Please fix this so it's watchable.

It's really hard to hear you! With a new feature, I would expect more enthusiasm and a louder projection. My volume is all the way up and it's still hard. Just letting you know, and I mean this with the best intention.

there is so much unused space above "upcoming" that could be used for the actual calendar. please move Upcoming, March25, view, today and plan all into the same line and then UP to maximize the size of the calendar.

Chris, I didn't know there was anyone else in the world who felt the same as me on this. Absolutely!

could you please also add a feature that will automatically scale the calendar to display my entire workday? Right now I have to scroll down to see what happens later today. It would be so helpful to see my entire workday in one screen

How do we scroll horizontally through days. At the moment I can only seem to do it when dragging a task

For me, holding 'shift' and scrolling with my mouse wheel does the trick.

Love this. What I am still missing is an option move my calendar events while in todoist. If apple calendar and outlook can do this for my Google events, you should be able to do this too. This is the number one reason why I barely use the Todoist calendar function as it make me switch between programs when I want to time block my day. Also I agree that a color code option for projects would be amazing. Also hide/unhide specific google calendars directly from the calendar view would be amazing.

One more: swiping to see other days directly from the today view would also be amazing
