FAQs

Loom is a place for all your photos and videos. One library, seamlessly organized and accessible from anywhere, with endless space to add. Hassle-free, so you can get back to what's important.

If you switch to Carousel, you will have the exact same amount of free space you had in Loom. Any referral bonus you received on Loom will be preserved into your new Dropbox account as well.
No matter what kind of plan you had with Loom, or how far along you were in it, you will receive one full year of the same amount of storage in Dropbox - free. We’ve got you covered.
Yes. Your entire Loom library will be exported - including all albums, photos, and videos. Nothing will be left behind or rearranged.
Loom always stored your original files, untouched. Your albums, photos and videos will be exported in their original resolution to Dropbox. You will be able to access them in your Dropbox or using the Carousel app.
Once you initiate the export, your Loom account will no longer be accessible. You will be logged out of the Loom app and will not be able to log back in. Then you can sit back and relax. We will handle the transfer from then on so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
You can continue to use Loom until May 16, 2014. Please make sure to export all of your data to either the zip file option or to Dropbox before this deadline. Loom will discontinue its service on that date. *Please note: once you start the migration process to Dropbox, your Loom account will be frozen and inaccessible.*
No problem! Alternatively, you can request a zip archive including your entire library of untouched originals. Click here to request your library.
