Hi, my name is Charles. I'm an account executive here at loom. I wanted to talk to you briefly about using Lynn for introductions.
When it comes to using loom for introductions, there are a few benefits that come to mind. Instantly. First video is personal.
It allows for the person who's receiving that loan to get to know a little bit more about you and get a better sense of who you are as a person.
Secondly, your screen gives you unlimited amounts of ways that you can make these presentations engaging while also making them fun and professional at the exact same time.
And lastly, these videos help protect people's time as a sales person, when I'm doing cold outreach. It's great to know that when I send someone a loom, they don't actually have to watch that loom on my schedule.
They can watch that whenever they actually have a free moment. Now, when do I use them for introductions? I'm sure that's a question that's going through your head right now.
When I think about it, there's some really cool ways to do it. So first thing that comes to mind is cold outreach and networking, great way to use them.
Then there's also applying for a job, introducing yourself to a new client or introducing yourself to a new team, which is actually something we do internally.
When people join loom, we actually ask that they record a loom about themselves and send it to the greater team in slack.
Um, now just for a few best practices, cam only is perfect. You can do that. If you don't have any slides or anything that you want to use to introduce yourself, you don't have to, but if you would like to take on that show and tell approach, you could use like a canvas backdrop like I'm using here.
This is one of our new product features. That'll be coming shortly. Um, as well as a slide deck, just to help tell that story about yourself.
And the last bit of advice I give is keep these videos short. Again. We want to protect people's time. So keep these short and to the point, next time you're sending an introduction, send one of you alone.
See how it goes. Thanks so much for using Luma's your video platform.
