Hi there. My name is Brittany Selinsky and I'm looms onboarded Lead. Today I wanna take a couple of minutes to talk to you about something that is top of mind for many of our enterprise admins, workspace consolidation.

Tell me if this sounds familiar to you. And at your org as an enterprise admin, a lot of people at your company have been signing up for Loom with their business email address with your company's domain.

Maybe they saw somebody else using it. It's very exciting and can often go viral. They're signing up for their own workspaces perhaps a starter free workspace.

Perhaps even some of them have put in their credit card and have a business workspace for their team. Now you have upgraded to a enterprise workspace for the purpose of managing all of these users and their content.

You're going to now have visibility into the types of looms that are being created, control over the users who can be added and provisioned and deprovisioned, and the ability to add security settings and privacy restrictions on your content.

So if that is where you are at today, an important step that we're gonna wanna talk to you about is consolidating workspaces.

A member of our customer success team who you are working with during your onboarding period can run a report for you and show you how many workspaces exist within your company's domain.

I will often see that there are 600 workspaces at a company or 180 workspaces at a company. So we can provide that report to you as well as a list of how many individuals are in those workspaces and how many videos are in those workspaces.

And we will work with you to determine what do we wanna do in terms of moving forward. And often the best path is to conduct what we call workspace consolidation.

That's gonna be migrating over those users and their content into one single enterprise workspace. This way, they are going to be governed by your SSO settings, your security settings, and all managed by you as the enterprise IT admin.

Okay? So we've decided that's what we wanna move forward with. We will we will pull that report for you and get that over to you.

We'll work on determining who we wanna move over, which content we wanna move over, and there are two different ways that workspace consolidation can take place.

We will work with you to determine what's the best option for you. The first option is we can put in a request to our technical support team on our end, and we can have them actually conduct the migration, the consolidation on the back end.

It should be a very seamless process for your users. And all of the videos are going to retain their same attributes and settings.

So they're sharing settings, their privacy settings, tags, things like that. All we're doing is moving it over into a

Different workspace id. Essentially, it's going to retain its original settings, so it's really nice. That process can take about 24 to 72 hours from the time that we submit it.

Sometimes it's much faster and it should be pretty seamless for your users. We will also then hide any of the old workspaces.

So when your users go to login, they will just be able to access the enterprise workspace and all of their old content will be in that workspace with them.

The second option is that you can direct your mover, your movers, your users to move their own content. We can provide you an email template, some suggested text.

You can communicate out to your users, Hey, we have upgraded to Enterprise so that everybody can now be governed by our enterprise settings and SSO and have access to our enterprise features.

Please move your content over into the enterprise workspace and set that workspace as your default. It's actually very easy for them to do, but if you have a large number of users, the chances that they're all going to do that is unlikely.

It is currently not a a possibility for you, the admin to cons to conduct the consolidation. It is either our technical services team or your individual users.
